Italian champions Juventus have rekindled their interest in Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes, Tuttosport understands.
The Bianconeri have been keeping close tabs on the Portugal international for quite some time, but they have decided to act after finding out that Claudio Marchisio would be sidelined until October.
Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta recently confirmed the interest in Andre Gomes, and the club officials have been working hard on the deal over the last couple of weeks.
According to Tuttosport, Valencia will only entertain offers in the region of €30 million, and there will be no discounts for the Serie A holders.
Superagent Jorge Mandes, whose investment company owns the Portuguese starlet’s economic rights, is likely to play a key role in any agreement being struck.
Andre Gomes has shown a great deal of potential after switching Benfica for Valencia and he has since made a total of 60 La Liga appearances for los Che, scoring 6 goals.
