Italian Serie A holders Juventus are stepping up their efforts to recruit Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Bianconeri appear to have come to terms with losing Alvaro Morata at the end of the season considering that Real Madrid are almost certain to exercise the buy-back clause.
And if the Spaniard does leave Turin, Juventus will attempt to replace him with none other than Edinson Cavani.
The Bianconeri are prepared to offer around €30 million for the highly rated forward, as well as present the player a long-term deal worth €5 million per campaign.
Juventus officials are aware that there are several Premier League clubs that could offer Cavani a more lucrative deal, but they hope he will jump at the opportunity to return to Italy.
Edinson Cavani enjoyed six and a half very successful years in Serie A, scoring 112 goals in 213 appearances.
