Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport claims that Italian champions Juventus have made Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi their number one target.
The Bianconeri will soon receive a major windfall from the sale of Paul Pogba and having already recruited Miralem Pjanic from AS Roma, they plan to spend some of the money on a new holding midfielder.
And while Nemanja Matic and Axel Witsel are also on their radar, PSG’s Blaise Matuidi appears to be at the top of their hit-list.
The Frenchman is believed to be tempted by the prospect of moving to Turin and his agent Mino Raiola has already held initial talks with the Bianconeri officials.
Matuidi has been an important player for club and country for quite some time now, and Juventus sporting department greatly appreciates his qualities.
The 29-year-old featured in all seven matches as France finished as Euro 2016 runners up, starting six of those games.
