Spanish newspaper Marca understands that Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto.
The Bianconeri have been showing interest in the Spain international for quite a while and they have been alerted by the latest developments.
Namely, Sergi Roberto and his agents have rejected the latest contract offer from Barcelona, meaning the player’s long-term future at Camp Nou is in doubt.
The midfielder’s current deal runs until June 2019 and contains a €40 million release clause.
Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be keen on the player who has mostly been used as a right-back over the last couple of years.
