Juventus step up chase for Tolisso

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport is reporting that Italian champions Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso.

The Bianconeri are expected to complete the signing of Axel Witsel in January, but that does not mean they will give up on the les Gones hotshot.

Juventus officials have been so impressed with Tolisso’s performances this season that they have made him one of the priority targets in January.

The only problem is that the youngster would not be able to represent the Bianconeri in this year’s Champions League, but that does not appear to be a deal breaker.

Juventus are aware that Lyon are ready to cash in on their star player having accepted a €37.5 million offer from Napoli in the summer, before the player rejected a move to Stadio San Paolo.

Following the 3-1 loss to Genoa at Stadio Luigi Ferraris, the Bianconeri are priced at 1/5 to lift the Serie A title.
