According to Tuttosport, Juventus’ sporting director Fabio Paratici recently attended Paris Saint-Germain’s domination of Lyon – with the intention of seeing Adrien Rabiot. Alas, the 23 year old didn’t actually feature in the game, although Juventus consider him to be their long term replacement for Blaise Matuidi. Rabiot is a wanted man in the realms of European football, with Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona being two other big clubs who are interested in signing him.
It doesn’t feel like a decision is going to be made one way or another until at least January, with PSG seemingly preparing themselves for the worst. The French champions have been aware of Rabiot’s desire to leave for quite some time, with the man himself rejecting a deal that would see him remain in Paris.
Juventus appear to be in the process of building a super team, with the project kicking off when they signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
