Juventus still interested in Aouar

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus look set to reignite their interest in Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar next year.

The Italian champions were clearly hoping to make more of a splash in the summer transfer window than they did but next time around, you can bet they’re going to push harder than they have done in a long time.

Juventus joined Arsenal in the race to try and sign Aouar during the summer but couldn’t quite get a deal done, but they aren’t willing to give up just yet.

Aouar still needs to prove himself in the big leagues in the eyes of many but with Lyon doing so well in last season’s UEFA Champions League, you have to admire what he’s doing and how well he’s been playing.

Juve want, more than anything, to become European champions again, and bringing Aouar into the fold is a great way to try and do that.
