Juventus have not given up on signing Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, with the latest developments set to help the Bianconeri finally get their man.
Beppe Marotta spent most of the summer chasing Edin Dzeko and Milos Krasic, but he could only sign one of them since Serie A clubs are only allowed to bring one non-EU player per season, and he eventually opted for the Serbian midfielder.
Nonetheless, the Bianconeri are still eager to sign the Bosnian striker even though he would cost around €30 million.
The high asking price was one of the reasons why Juventus failed to sign Dzeko in the summer, but the Bianconeri now have an ace up their sleeve.
Namely, Wolfsburg still owe Juve around €10 million for the purchase of Diego, while the Wolves also want to sign Momo Sissoko, and this is something the Italians will use to their advantage before opening new negotiations with the German club.
