(GSM) – Alex Manninger has joined first choice goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon on the injury list as Juventus face an injury crisis with the Europa League round of 16 decider at Fulham looming.
The former Austrian international played against Fulham last week with the Bianconero’s winning 3-1 at Turin.
But the 32- year-old suffered an injury to this right thigh on the eve of his side’s 3-3 draw against Siena on Sunday.
It now seems that the Bianconeri will have to resort to their third-choice goalkeeper with Manninger expected to remain sidelined for 15-20 days.
Juventus will be forced to field their third-choice goalkeeper in Thursday’s UEFA Europa League second leg against Fulham after Alex Manninger joined Gianluigi Buffon on the sidelines.
Buffon was ruled out for a month in late February with a thigh strain.
