Juventus to swap Giovinco for Paletta

Juventus are stepping up their interest in Parma defender Gabriel Paletta and is prepared to send Sebastian Giovinco the other way, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri boss Antonio Conte has been impressed by the experienced stopper’s recent performances and he is determined to lure him to Turin in the summer.

And with Parma keen on former player Sebastian Giovinco, the Old Lady could propose a swap deal that would involve the two players.

Sebastian Giovinco has enjoyed the best time of his career at Ennio Tardini and he would be probably interested in rejoining I Ducali, especially having struggled for playing time in Turin.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Paletta is not getting any younger and this could be his final opportunity to join a top European club.

Juventus play host to Livorno this evening looking to restore an eight point lead at the Serie A summit, and the Bianconeri have been made 1/6 favourites for the win.
