Sky Sport Italia has learned that Juventus have reignited their interest in Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Bianconeri missed out on the Chilean three years back as he opted to leave Udinese for the Spanish giants, but he has since remained on their radar.
And Sky Sport Italia understands that Juventus are set to launch a fresh assault on their long-term target.
With Barcelona squad set to undergo major changes in the summer, the Bianconeri believe they can lure Sanchez to Turin at the end of the season.
They have been in contact with the Catalans as well as the player’s agents as they attempt to work out a deal that would see the 25-year-old return to Italian Serie A.
Nevertheless, everything will depend on the outcome of Barcelona’s appeal on the transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
The Catalans will be vying for the first major trophy of the season when they face Real Madrid in Copa del Rey final, and they have been made 5/6 favourites to lift the coveted title.
