The agent of Porto defender Rolando has rejected speculations linking his client with a move away from Dragao.
The highly rated centre-back was linked with a number of big European clubs, including Juventus and Roma, but it looks as though he will be staying at Dragao after all.
Former Porto coach Andre Villas-Boas was also believed to be pondering a move for the 25-year-old, but his client has now cooled off transfer talk.
“The player has a contract with FC Porto, as it is known, he renewed it because he is fine there, he feels fine,” Cardoso Da Silva told Radio Renascenca.
“Any offer has to go through Porto and from that point, if Porto sees fit, they will contact us.
“Right now, he is at the club’s pre-season training camp, I do not know anything else.”
Rolando has a €30 million release clause inserted in his contract and Porto are unlikely to settle for anything less.
