Arsenal was linked earlier this summer with AS Roma’s Alberto Aquilani, however nothing seems to have materialized. Now, Juventus are making advances on the talented midfielder and it is thought that their bid might just be enough for AS Roma to cave in, according to Football Italia.
The bid is reported to include £10 million and Vincenzo Iaquinta as well as Mario Marchionni. This could prove to good to turn down for AS Roma who will be loath to lose a midfielder they would have liked to build a team around.
According to Football Italia, Vincenzo Iaquinta would be the decisive factor in the bid. The Italian striker has endured a difficult past campaign and he might not have as many first team opportunities following the arrival of Brazilian striker Amauri. Despite this, Luciano Spaletti is an admirer of the strong forward and would welcome bringing him to Stadio Olimpico.
