Italian champions Juventus are readying summer bid for Atletico Madrid defender Jose Maria Gimenez, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Bianconeri are eager to rejuvenate their back line and the process that began with the arrivals of Mattia Caldara and Leonardo Spinazzola looks set to continue.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims that Juventus are hot on the trail of Atletico Madrid stopper Jose Maria Gimenez.
The Bianconeri officials earlier met with the player’s representatives and they appear to be ready to make their move now.
Despite only recently turning 23, Gimenez already has 100 top flight appearances and 39 Uruguay caps to his name, while he also represented La Celeste at one World Cup finals and two Copa America tournaments.
