Benfica fullback Alex Grimaldo continues to attract plenty of interest from Europe’s top clubs.
Serie A hot-shots Napoli have been linked with the 21-year-old over the past couple of months, but according to the latest reports coming from the Portuguese media outlet Abola, Partenopei will be facing stiff competition for Grimaldo’s signature this summer.
Serie A champions Juventus are believed to be keeping close tabs on the highly-rated youngster.
Benfica defender who can occupy a number of positions in the back line is believed to be high on Juventus’ transfer wish list. Sporting director Fabio Paratici has reportedly identified Grimaldo as one of the top priorities as he looks to strengthen Massimiliano Allegri’s squad for next season.
The Spanish international Grimaldo has just returned from a lengthy spell on the sidelines but has still managed 12 Primeira Liga starts for Benfica. Grimaldo also scored two goals for his team this season.
