According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Juventus may not be done with Real Madrid this summer with the report suggesting that they could be interested in bringing Marcelo to Turin. The full-back is coming off the back of a failed World Cup with Brazil, with the suggestion being that the 30-year-old has been a subject of interest for the Italian champions for quite some time now.
Marcelo, who has often been compared to Roberto Carlos, has made well over 300 appearances for Real across an 11-year tenure in Madrid. He’s been through the good times and the bad, as one of the club’s ever-consistent first-teamers. While he may not be the first to receive the plaudits from media members and pundits alike, he’s certainly earned his position as one of the best defenders in the world.
Juventus, on the other hand, are continuing to build a team capable of winning the Champions League.
