Juventus have reignited their interest in Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.
The Serbian defender was on Juventus’ radar while he was playing for Lazio, but he eventually decided to accept an offer from Manchester City.
The 26-year-old failed to live up to expectations at Eastlands and has lost his starting place with the arrival of Gael Clichy.
The Bianconeri are looking to take advantage of the situation and are reportedly preparing a January assault on the Serbia international.
New signing from Sampdoria Reto Ziegler was expected to make the left-back position his own, but he didn’t fit into Antonio Conte’s plans and was farmed out on loan to Fenerbahce.
The Bianconeri are now forced to rely on inexperienced Paolo De Ceglie, which is why they are determined to sign a new left-back in January, with Aleksandar Kolarov their number one target.
