La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus have decided to sign Moroccan defender Mehdi Benatia on permanent basis from Bayern Munich.
The 29-year-old joined last summer on loan with €17 million option to buy, going on to make 14 appearances in all competitions.
Nevertheless, head coach Max Allegri and his staff appear to be satisfied with the player’s contribution and they have advised the club officials to trigger said clause.
And while that may seem a lot to pay for a player who will turn 30 in a couple of weeks, it is important to note that Juventus will earn €21 million from the sale of Kingsley Coman.
The Bianconeri have also been showing interest in the €50 million rated Douglas Costa, while some of their other targets include Inaki Williams, Balde Keita, Alexis Sanchez and Federico Bernardeschi.
