Serie A champions Juventus have secured the signature of defender Daniele Rugani on permanent basis, according to Tuttosport.
The Bianconeri currently co-own the centre-back with Empoli, but they have reportedly agreed to purchase the remaining half for a fee of €3 million.
Nevertheless, the talented defender will remain with the Azzurri on loan until the end of the season as they battle to escape relegation.
Having struggled for playing time in Turin, the 20-year-old has kick-started his career at Empoli, making 40 league appearances in Serie B as Empoli secured promotion to the elite division.
Rugani has been ever present for the Azzurri in this year’s Serie A, spending every minute on the pitch in each of club’s 20 matches.
His parent club Juventus opened up a seven-point lead at the top of the league standings by defeating Chievo last weekend and they are available at 1/3 to beat Parma in Coppa Italia.
