Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Italian champions Juventus have all but agreed to sign Rolando Mandragora from Genoa.
The two clubs are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement over the transfer fee, believed to be just over €6 million.
And while minor details are left to be sorted out, an official announcement is expected later in the day.
Juventus expressed their interest in the 18-year-old footballer a while back, but they had to work hard to persuade Mandragora to move to Turin.
But, while Atletico Madrid and Sevilla only inquired about the youngster, the Bianconeri made their move and are now set to win the race for his signature.
After showing some promise in his maiden Serie A season at Genoa, Mandragora has impressed while on loan with Pescara this term.
His next club Juventus have closed the gap behind league leaders Inter to mere three points, and are now 6/5 favourites to defend the league trophy.
