Italian champions Juventus have reportedly agreed a deal to sign French midfielder Jonathan Ikone from Paris Saint-Germain, according to L’Equipe.
The Bianconeri had previously snatched Kingsley Coman from Parc des Princes two years ago and they are now set to sign another Saints youngster.
Even though his agents were negotiating a contract renewal with PSG for several weeks, the 18-year-old ultimately decided to accept an offer from Juventus.
Therefore, Ikone will be signing a three-year deal with the Bianconeri and joins the club on a free transfer.
Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City were also keen on the youngster’s signature, but the Serie A holders eventually managed to win the chase.
Paris Saint-Germain officials are reportedly furious with their Juventus counterparts for signing one of their hottest prospects, and chances are that the Bianconeri will be given a cold shoulder treatment if they ever attempt to sign another PSG player in the future.
