Juventus want Emerson

Chelsea are still thinking about what they want to do with Olivier Giroud and should they sell him in January transfer window, but now they could be in a situation where they need to fight to keep one of their other players. Their full-back Emerson Palmieri is apparently the subject of interest from Juventus.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Juventus are in need of a left-back and Maurizio Sarri is desperate to reinforce his defence as early as January transfer window. That would mean that Juve would have to act quickly and the Italy international is top his list of targets.

It might not be the easiest thing to do for Juventus, as the Blues are not eager to sell, not only because Emerson has featured in seven Premier League matches this season, but also because they are still under a transfer ban. Frank Lampard would only have Marcos Alonso at his disposal, which would be insufficient.
