According to a recent report from Ekrem Konur, Juventus are hoping to pursue the signing of Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino.
The Brazilian has less than a year left to run on his contract and as it currently stands, he’d be able to agree a move to a foreign club from January 1st onwards. Juve have previously been interested in him but couldn’t get a deal over the finish line, and now, the out-of-choice Firmino is seemingly ready to move in a new direction in his career.
The 30-year-old isn’t getting any younger and with the Reds turning their attention towards other faces in pursuit of another title push, it seems more likely than ever before that he’s going to leave.
Firmino has enjoyed a lot of great moments over the years at Anfield but with Sadio Mane also gone, the club definitely seems to be heading in an entirely new direction.
