Italian champions Juventus will attempt to bring full-back Leonardo Spinazzola to Turin in January, La Gazzetta dello Sport can reveal.
The highly rated footballer had joined Orobici on a two-year loan deal in the summer of 2016 and has since impressed in both Serie A and Europa League.
As a result, Juventus wanted to bring him back last summer, but Atalanta decided to hold on to the Italy international.
With both Alex Sandro and Kwadwo Asamoah being linked with a January exit, the Bianconeri will again attempt to cut short the loan deal, but it remains to be seen what Atalanta’s response will be.
Orobici did well to finish top of their Europa League group, while they are still in contention for European positions in Serie A, and they are unlikely to let Spinazzola leave unless Juventus compensate them properly.
