According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Juventus are interested in keeping veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon at the club until at least the summer transfer window of 2021. They are considering offering him a contract sooner rather than later, which will see him stay at the club until the age of 43.

Buffon has been viewed as one of the most consistent goalkeepers in world football for many years, and that’s still the case to this day.

He spent a year at Paris Saint-Germain, but he went straight back to the Italian giants.

Juve are desperate to try and get themselves a European title within the next few years, and if they’re able to keep Buffon on the books, it’ll give him a chance to finally claim that all elusive Champions League trophy.

Either way, it doesn’t seem as if he’s considering retirement any time soon, which will be music to the ears of many football fans.
