Juventus want to release Khedira

Juventus have won their ninth consecutive Serie A title, but this one was probably the least convincing one of the lot. Maurizio Sarri has done in his first season what was expected of him, clinching his first league title. But not everyone will be happy with their role in this Serie A title and one of those is definitely Sami Khedira.

German midfielder has not had a big role for the Bianconerri and therefore it is not a surprise to find out that he might not be at Juventus next season. What is interesting is that Juventus are ready to mutually agree the termination of his contract. That is what Calciomercato are reporting, as Khedira still has a year left to run on his current deal.

Still, he sat out most of the 2019-20 season through injury and Juventus want to move on. Khedira is now reportedly negotiating a severance package worth somewhere in the region of six million euros.
