Juventus are interested in signing Willian from Chelsea, according to Turin-based outlet Tuttosport.
The 31-year-old Brazilian has been at Stamford Bridge for over six years now, with close to 300 appearances and 53 goals in the blue shirt in that time. He has helped Chelsea win the Premier League twice, two FA Cups, one League Cup and the 2019 Europa League. However, with club legend Frank Lampard, now the manager, preferring young players in his team, it’s questionable whether there will be a place for him in the starting XI once Christian Pulisic has fully adapted.
On the other hand, Juventus are gathering experienced top-level players as they strive to add the Champions League trophy to their impressive domestic collection. Willian’s contract with Chelsea expires at the end of this season and he will be allowed to talk to clubs outside England from January 1st, unless a new deal is in place by then.
