Serie A champions are on the verge of signing a contract with Ascoli teenager Riccardo Orsolini, who is already in Turin for his medical examinations ahead of a proposed transfer to Bianconeri, the club has confirmed.
The highly-rated winger has been turning plenty of heads with his impressive displays for Serie B side Ascoli of late and was reportedly targeted by the likes of Napoli and Chelsea as well.
Juventus managed to beat the competition to the signature of the Italy youth international as the two clubs reached an agreement this week, with no details being disclosed at this point.
Ascoli director Ivan Lanni confirmed the deal earlier this week, stating that the negotiating process has been rather complicated due to plenty of variables involved.
Riccardo Orsollini is expected to sign a deal with the reigning champions by the end of the week, when he will be sent back to his parent club on loan until the end of the season.
