Kabak keen on permanent Liverpool move

Ozan Kabak, currently on loan at Liverpool from Schalke 04, says he would like to remain on Merseyside permanently.

Liverpool signed Kabak together with Ben Davies on the last day of the winter transfer window in response to a heavy injury crisis which hit their centre-back department. The 21-year-old arrived on a trial basis for the second half of the season, with the Premier League side having the option to make the deal permanent in the summer for around £18 million.

With one match of the season remaining, the time of the decision is close, and in an interview with The Times, Kabak said the experience he has gained in the last five months is extremely valuable. He is very happy with the fact he has now worked with world-class players and a manager like Jurgen Klopp. He knows that lessons learned at Anfield will stay with him wherever he goes, but he would still like to stay at Liverpool.
