Brighton and Hove Albion are set to complete the signing of Kacper Kozlowski from Pogon Szczecin for an amount of around £8 million, according to Sky Sports.
The 18-year-old 6-cap senior Poland international is a versatile midfielder, preferring a box-to-box role but also quite capable of playing deeper, as a shield to the back line, or further up, behind a striker. A number of clubs across Europe’s top five leagues are believed to have been keeping a close eye on his development, but it seems the Seagulls will win the race and take the teenager to the Amex.
Kozlowski rose through the youth ranks at Pogon and earned a place in the senior squad at the age of just 16. Since then, he has made a total of 43 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring four goals and assisting his teammates seven times. This term, he’s had 12 Ekstraklasa starts so far, coming on four times from the bench.
