Manchester United midfielder Shinji Kagawa is close to rejoining Borussia Dortmund, according to Bild.
The Japanese footballer looks increasingly likely to quit Old Trafford after he was publicly criticized by manager Louis van Gaal, especially since the Red Devils have completed the signing of Angel Di Maria.
Bild has learned that Borussia Dortmund plan to lure the player back to Signal Iduna Park, with Kagawa’s agent Thomas Kroth already in Germany negotiating a deal.
It is believed that Manchester United would settle for €10 million, and with that in mind the transfer should be completed well ahead of Sunday’s deadline.
Shinji Kagawa, 25, has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford despite scoring 6 goals in 38 Premier League appearances for the club.
The Japan international is now widely tipped to return to Signal Iduna Park where he has enjoyed two very successful seasons after arriving from Cerezo Osaka.
