Adriano’s days at Inter could be numbered after he defied the Nerazzurri’s orders and failed to return to Milan following Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers. Milan ace Kaka trained alongside Adriano last week and made some ominous remarks after last night’s game with Lecce.

“Let’s hope for the best and that he will not quit football because he is a wonderful lad,” Kaka told journalists at the Stadio San Siro. “He had an ankle problem and we underwent physiotherapy sessions together for a few days. He looked tranquil and serene, with no issues at all. I was lead to believe that he had a one-day leave of absence, but then Inter said that was not the case.”
