ESPN are suggesting that AC Milan have cooled their interest in re-singing Kaka from Real Madrid this summer.
The Brazilian’s future has been one of the most talked about stories in this transfer window but with time running out it looks as though he may have to fight for his place at the Bernabeu.
Jose Mourinho has previously stated that the 30-year-old could leave the club, which sparked interest from a number of European teams, but no one has put in an offer for him.
It seems as though the Serie A side would be happy to do a loan deal for Kaka but the La Liga Champions will only let him leave the club if it is on a permanent basis.
Galatasaray were another much talked contender to sign the playmaker but they have ruled themselves out of the running.
Kaka has really struggled at Real and a move away from Spain may be just what he needs to show that he is still one of the best players around.
English Premier League side Manchester United were also linked with him but after they have signed Shinji Kagawa and Robin Van Persie, a move for Kaka looks extremely unlikely.
