Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti drafted Gael Kakuta and Yuri Zhirkov into his injury-hit side for Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Marseille at Stamford Bridge.
Ancelotti was without injured midfielders Frank Lampard and Yossi Benayoun, while Ivory Coast forward Didier Drogba was suspended and striker Salomon Kalou ruled out through injury.
Those four absentees meant Ancelotti turned to French teenager Kakuta to replace Drogba, while Zhirkov came into midfield in place of Ramires.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Alex, Terry, Cole; Mikel, Essien, Zhirkov; Kakuta, Anelka, Malouda
Marseille: Mandanda; Kabore, Diawara, Mbia, Heinze; Lucho, Cisse, Cheyrou; Remy, Gignac, Brandao
Referee: Frank De Bleeckere (BEL)
