Kallstrom set to return to Russia

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Kim Kallstrom will return to parent club Spartak Moscow at the end of the season, according to the Mail Online.

The Sweden international moved to the Emirates Stadium on loan in January, though he didn’t make his debut until coming on as a late substitute in the FA Cup semi-final victory over Wigan Athletic last month.

His appearance in Sunday afternoon’s 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion was just his fifth for the club, and the Gunners boss has admitted that he will not remain at the club beyond their final three games of the season, the last of which being the FA Cup final on May 17th, where they will face Hull City at Wembley.

It is nine years this month since the North London club last lifted any silverware, and they can be backed at 2/7 to end their drought a week on Saturday.
