Harry Kane is considering whether he should remain at Tottenham Hotspur past the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
If they don’t qualify for next season’s Champions League, Spurs may have as little as £50 million to spend on new names in the summer. Kane is desperate to take the next step at this point in his career, and manager Jose Mourinho faces a tough task to convince the England captain that his dreams may be fulfilled with the North London club.
Kane is under contract with the club for four more years, which puts Spurs in a good position if any negotiations over a sale should take place. It is believed that they value their star striker at no less than £150m, and given the reputation of chairman Daniel Levy, they aren’t likely to agree to any price below that. Kane currently earns up to £200,000 per week, but Levy is ready to hand him a fresh deal, on terms even more lucrative than that.
