Kane set to sign new Spurs deal

Harry Kane is set to sign a new five year contract with Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Express.

The striker has recently returned from the European Championships, where his England side were knocked out in the last sixteen by Iceland last Monday.

He was one of a number of England’s players to face criticism following their participation at the tournament, though that hasn’t put his club side off from tying him down to a new deal.

Aside from loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City Kane has spent his entire career at White Hart Lane, scoring sixty-four goals in one hundred and twenty-seven appearances in all competitions.

He hit twenty-five in the Premier League last season which was enough to see him clinch the division’s Golden Boot award ahead of Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and fellow England forward Jamie Vardy.
