Kane to commit to Tottenham?

According to a recent report from Evening Standard, Harry Kane is willing to sign a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s been well documented that the Englishman pushed hard for a move to Manchester City last summer, and when the new season got underway, he didn’t seem to be his old goalscoring self.

That pattern changed as time went on and with Antonio Conte now doing a solid job at the helm, the 28-year-old appears to be more confident than he’s been in a long time that his future is in North London.

Kane has a clear ambition to win a trophy with Spurs in the next year or two and while he has yet to hold talks with the club, it’s worth noting that he has two years left to run on his current deal.

Plus, they’re back in the Champions League, which was always going to be crucial for him.
