According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Tottenham have made it known to Manchester City they won’t accept a cash-plus-player deal for Harry Kane.
The overwhelming expectation this summer is that Kane, probably after the Euros, will negotiate a move away from North London. He’s spent many years establishing himself as one of the most elite forwards in world football but now feels like the time for him to depart.
City have been the leading contenders for quite some time now and even though there are still questions surrounding whether or not he’ll even leave, they’re going to be ready and waiting for an offer Spurs – and Kane – can’t refuse.
The Englishman wants to start winning trophies, and it appears as if Spurs are going everything in their power to convince him that he can do so with them. City, on the other hand, have a proven track record.
