Kante set for new Chelsea deal?

According to L’Equipe, N’Golo Kante is set to sign a new contract with Chelsea Football Club. The midfielder is easily one of the best players not only at Stamford Bridge but in the Premier League as a whole, and it’s not surprising to see that the Blues are interested in tying him down to a more long term deal.

Paris Saint-Germain have made no secret of the fact that they’d also be interested in signing Kante, who made the jump over from Leicester City in 2016. The 27 year old won back to back Premier League titles with the two clubs, and given his age and his position in the middle of the park, it certainly seems as if he has a long time left at the top level in the beautiful game.

Kante has been a professional footballer since back in 2012 with Boulogne, making his move to the King Power Stadium from Caen in 2015.
