(GSM) – Olivier Kapo is relieved at finally leaving Wigan Athletic. The French international has just sealed a return to his homeland after signing a loan deal with Boulogne.
The 29-year-old has agreed a loan deal until the end of the season and has told L’Equipe of his happiness to move on after his career stalled in England.
“It is a real relief. I wanted to come back [to France],” Kapo told L’Equipe.
“The officials and the coach showed me they really wanted to sign me, they were very motivated.
“I join a very sane group and that is essential. I will find again pressure before the matches. I really missed it. I am happy. We will try to fight to get salvation. I have big desire to play again.”
