Karlo Letica plays down Real Madrid rumours

Hajduk Split goalkeeper Karlo Letica has this week emerged as somewhat a shock transfer target for La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid.

Reigning European champions are said to be keeping a close eye on the talented Croatian who is seen as a long-term replacement for Keylor Navas at Santiago Bernabeu.

Los Blancos have thus far been linked with a number of goalkeeping targets and Hajduk Split youngster was the last one to be added to their wishlist.

Letica’s agent Sinisa Soso remained coy on Real Madrid links, claiming that plenty of Europe’s top clubs are tracking his development but the player himself went on to play down the Los Blancos transfer rumours.

“Obviously links like these are a good thing for me but this is not the time to talk about this.”, Letica told Marca.
