Two goals from Kostas Katsouranis led Panathinaikos to a 2-1 victory over PAOK’s in Sunday’s Greek top clash.
Katsouranis, who returned to his home country from Portuguese outfit Benfica at the start of this season, proved his value with the opening goal in the 23rd minute.
Vieirinha leveled with six minutes to go in the first half, but Katsouranis struck again in the 70th minute, 2-1.
As result of this victory, Panathinaikos rejoin Olympiakos at the top of the Greek lead. Olympiakos had already won their match on Saturday, a 2-1 result against Ergotelis.
