Keane set for permanent Burnley switch

Burnley are close to completing a permanent deal for Manchester United defender Michael Keane, according to the Mail Online.

The Clarets are in talks over a £3m move for the 21 year old, who moved to Turf Moor on loan back in August.

Since arriving at the Lancashire club, he has made eleven appearances in all competitions, and has impressed enough to convince manager Sean Dyche to secure his services.

Keane made just one league appearance for Manchester United, spending most of his career so far out on loan, with spells in the Championship with Leicester City, Derby County and Blackburn Rovers.

Since making his debut for England’s U21s almost two years ago, he has been capped seventeen times, scoring three goals.

Despite losing just three of their last ten Premier League games, Burnley remain odds on favourites to be relegated back to the Championship at a price of 1/2.
