Goalkeeper Paddy Kenny has left Leeds United by mutual consent, according to the Mail Online.
The 36 year old former Republic of Ireland international had been with the Yorkshire club for the past two years, racking up eighty-one appearances in all competitions.
However, he has recently lost his place to Marco Silvestri, who was signed from Calgari in the summer and has played in both league games so far while fellow new arrival Stuart Taylor was selected for last Tuesday’s League Cup first round victory over Accrington Stanley.
Kenny has previously played for Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield United and Bury as well as turning out for non-league duo Bradford Park Avenue, where he began his career, and Whitby Town on loan.
Leeds, who currently sit in seventeenth place having won one and lost one of their opening two games, face joint-bottom Brighton and Hove Albion at Elland Road tomorrow evening.
