Serie A outfit Bologna have officially announced the signing of keeper Cristiano Lupatelli on a free transfer. The 32 year old moves to Bologna from Cagliari, where his contract expired this summer.
Perugia born Lupatelli started his career with Fidelis Andria in 1996. In 1999, he was sold to Italian giants Roma and won a Scudetto with the Giallorossi in 2001. He was then sold to Chievo in a co-ownership deal and spent two seasons with the Flying Donkeys before returning to Roma.
In 2004, he joined Fiorentina on a free transfer and spent four years with the Viola before joining Cagliari. He has also had loan spells at Parma and Palermo
