Falkirk have signed former Sporting Braga and Deportivo La Coruna keeper Dani Mallo initially till the end of the season, the Scottish Premier League club said on Thursday.
Mallo could make his debut in Saturday’s league match at Motherwell provided all the necessary transfer formalities are completed in time.
Bairns boss John Hughes told his club’s official website, www.falkirkfc.co.uk: “I’m really glad to get the lad – he comes highly recommended.
“He has impressed me at training and if the international clearance comes through on time, he will be part of the squad for Saturday’s game with Motherwell.”
