Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl has refused to give up on the Bundesliga title, despite falling 14 points behind Bayern Munich.
Dortmund slipped further behind Bayern on Saturday as Jurgen Klopp’s men were held to 2-2 by Augsburg.
Kehl admits the draw was a disappointing way to start the second half of the season, but insists he and his team-mates will not stop believing that Dortmund can catch Bayern while it is still mathematically possible.
“We are very disappointed, but life goes on,” he said. “We’re not going to tear ourselves apart and start pointing fingers.
“We’re certainly not going to raise the white flag and give up either.
“We’re going to analyse it and find a few strong words for what happened, we’ve got to do far better.”
Klopp’s side have not won in the league in their last four matches, while Bayern remain unbeaten and have only dropped points four points all season
