Keirrison to join Benfica on loan

Portuguese power house Benfice have announced through the Portuguese stock market that the Lisbon club have reached an agreement with Spanish giants Barcelona to take striker Keirrison on loan for the upcoming season plus an option.

Coach Jorge Jesus will now have a plethora of attacking options as the club will now have six strikers, Cardozo, Saviola, Nuno Gomes, Weldon and Mantorras, not to mention the attacking prowess of Di Maria, Coentrao, Aimar and Urretavizcaya.

The former Palmeiras ace is expected to arrive in Lisbon shorlty to formalise the deal.
