Keita back to Bundesliga?

According to a recent report from Bild, Naby Keita could be on the verge of leaving Liverpool in favour of a return to the Bundesliga.

Back in 2018, Naby Keita made his way over to Anfield following a two-year stint with Leipzig. While he’s lifted a few trophies as part of the furniture with the Reds, he hasn’t been able to have many extended runs in the middle of the park.

That’s largely been down to injuries but even when he’s been fully fit, he still hasn’t lived up to the hype that surrounded him when he initially arrived.

In terms of where he could end up, Leipzig are interested in the idea of possibly bringing him back – with Borussia Dortmund also showing interest.

Ironically enough, the two clubs will square off this weekend, whereas Keita will continue to try and prove to Jurgen Klopp that he deserves his place in the first team squad.
